Kahina Giving Beauty Skin Care Products Featuring Organic Argan Oil

Kahina Giving Beauty is a natural skincare company based in New York and Morocco. Founder Katharine Phillips L'Heureux traveled the world in her quest for effective and natural skin care products. Her search culminated in a trip to Morocco where she discovered the effectiveness of 100% pure organic argan oil, which has been used by Moroccan women in their beauty care ritual for centuries. She visited cooperatives established by the Moroccan government in the country's southwest region, home of the indigenous people known as Berbers. Only Berber women are allowed by law to extract argan oil from the nuts of the trees. L'Heureux was so touched and moved by the women she met, she resolved to help promote their social and financial independence.

Kahina Giving Beauty donates 25 percent of company profits to literacy and women's rights programs that assist the women in the Moroccan cooperatives. Katharine is a partner in a family-owned sustainable vineyard in the Napa Valley. She currently resides in Manhattan with her husband and three children.
